If x>-2 and y>7 what is the range of z:
According to the its range, the variable y can take any large positive value. Multiplied by one of the negative values that x is allowed to take, a very large negative z can be obtained.
Similarly, one can use both x and y positive numbers with values sufficiently large to produce any large z.
Therefore, z can have any real value.
